Ahmad Fayaz was 19 yeas old and a student of the faculty of pharmacy in Kabul University when he was arrested in February 1982 by the KHAD from his house in Kabul. He was arrested because of his membership in the Independent Association of Lecturers & Students (Esteqlaltalab). Fayaz died under torture in Sedarat detention center of the KHAD in April 1982. He is one of thousands of students of Kabul University arrested and killed by the KHAD.
